Theological Course

Accessible Theological Subjects for Everyone

Not all believers desire or are able to pursue pastoral ministry. However, many still seek to study Theology in greater depth for their spiritual growth and better service in the church. With this broader audience in mind, RTS offers individual theological subjects that can be taken separately.

DISTINCTIVE FEATURE

Build Your Own Course Schedule

The Theological Course is conducted alongside the Pastoral Course. As students share the classroom with those preparing for Christian ministry, they benefit from the same academic excellence that RTS offers to future pastors. Since the program consists of individual subjects, each student is able to enroll in the subjects of their choice and is not required to follow a fixed curriculum within a set timeframe. At the end of each module, students receive a certificate of completion for that subject, accumulating credits toward their theological education. If they reach a minimum of 74 credits, they may request a Theological Course diploma. This structure accommodates both those who wish to complete the full curriculum and those who simply want to take specific classes based on their interests, without committing to a full program.

In-Person and Online

Classes are held on-site with live online streaming, allowing students from different cities, states, or even countries to actively participate and interact with professors in real time.

Affordable Pricing

The subjects are individually priced and paid per application. Each student can decide when, how many, and which subjects to take, based on their preferences and availability.

FAQ

Although students from both programs share the same classroom, there are five key differences: (1) the Pastoral Course includes specific subjects and is exclusively for those aspiring to pastoral ministry; (2) the Pastoral Course offers an extracurricular mentoring program focused on ministerial training; (3) students in the Pastoral Course must complete ministry internship hours throughout the program; (4) the subjects in the Pastoral Course are predefined and must be taken within a set timeframe; (5) lastly, the Theological Course is available in both in-person and online formats, whereas the Pastoral Course is only offered in person.

No. If a student in the Theological Course takes all available subjects in 2025, the total cost will be BRL 2,730 per year. In contrast, a student in the Pastoral Course will have an annual cost of BRL 5,988 (12 installments of BRL 499). The price difference is justified by the exclusive subjects in the Pastoral Course, as well as the supervision of the ministry internship and the mentoring program, which are included in the tuition. Therefore, the cost of the Theological Course is nearly half the price of the Pastoral Course.

Unlike the Pastoral Course, the Theological Course does not have a fixed monthly fee. The total amount to be paid depends on the number of subjects the student is enrolled in, and payment is made at the time of module registration. Payments can be made in via PIX (Brazilian Instant Payment System, link to be provided) or in installments using a credit card (with interest). For more details, contact RTS via WhatsApp.
