CADETE

A Theological Journey in Every Session

CADETE is an acronym that stands for “Curso Aberto de Desenvolvimento Teológico” (“Open Course in Theological Development”). This program consists of standalone masterclasses on various theological topics. There is no fixed curriculum, allowing students to enroll in the subjects of their choice and pay only for the modules they attend. Classes are open to all interested participants and take place on a pre-announced Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

In-Person and Online

CADETE classes are held in person with an online broadcast. This allows students, even those living in other cities, states, or countries, to interact with the professor live.

Affordable Pricing

The theological sessions are standalone and come at affordable prices, with multiple payment options available.

In-Depth Theological Study

Each session delves deeply into a specific theological topic. Additionally, the class is complemented by suggested reading materials for further study.

Double-Feature Class

Divorce and remarriage & Women in ministry

The first masterclass of 2026 will address two extremely relevant topics within the evangelical landscape of recent decades.

Regarding divorce and remarriage, the questions that arise are: does biblical marital ethics allow for divorce on any grounds? And concerning remarriage: does Scripture truly approve of such unions, as many pastors teach? What are the practical impacts of this on the church? What are the historical perspectives on this theme?

Regarding women in the pastorate, the inquiries cover the following subtopics: what are the historical roots of this contemporary practice? Does the Bible permit this type of female role? How should we interpret the role of women in the church?

Yes. Each payment corresponds to one registration for a specific masterclass. Since students can choose which sessions they want to attend, the cost always refers to a single class.

Yes. CADETE offers the same masterclass in both in-person and online formats, simultaneously.

At the time of registration, students must confirm whether they will participate in-person or online so that the RTS team can arrange all necessary structures for the masterclass. It is not possible to change the participation mode later.

If you registered in advance but were unable to attend the live session, you will be able to access the class recording for up to 6 months. However, you will not have the live participation features.

RTS does not offer refunds for CADETE as the classes are planned based on the number of registered students, requiring the mobilization of the entire structure to meet the demands of the masterclass.
