CADETE

A Theological Journey in Every Session

CADETE is an acronym that stands for “Curso Aberto de Desenvolvimento Teológico” (“Open Course in Theological Development”). This program consists of standalone masterclasses on various theological topics. There is no fixed curriculum, allowing students to enroll in the subjects of their choice and pay only for the modules they attend. Classes are open to all interested participants and take place on a pre-announced Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

In-Person and Online

CADETE classes are held in person with an online broadcast. This allows students, even those living in other cities, states, or countries, to interact with the professor live.

Affordable Pricing

The theological sessions are standalone and come at affordable prices, with multiple payment options available.

In-Depth Theological Study

Each session delves deeply into a specific theological topic. Additionally, the class is complemented by suggested reading materials for further study.

NEW MASTERCLASS

The Gift of Tongues, with Pr. Marcos Granconato and Pr. Isaac Pereira

Many associate the gift of tongues mentioned in Acts and 1 Corinthians with an angelic language and with spiritual experiences that endow the believer with power through a “second blessing” granted after conversion. However, the biblical description reveals something quite different: it was a supernatural sign given by God as an expression of judgment upon unbelieving Jews, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies. The tongues themselves were human languages, not angelic ones. From this cessationist perspective, the gift fulfilled its specific purpose during the apostolic era and has since ceased. In this unmissable Masterclass, participants will not only explore the biblical foundations for this understanding, but also see how a healthy Christian life progresses without the constant pursuit of mystical experiences—recognizing that conversion itself brings all the spiritual blessings promised in Scripture, without the need for a second experience with the Holy Spirit marked by glossolalia.

Yes. Each payment corresponds to one registration for a specific masterclass. Since students can choose which sessions they want to attend, the cost always refers to a single class.

Yes. CADETE offers the same masterclass in both in-person and online formats, simultaneously.

At the time of registration, students must confirm whether they will participate in-person or online so that the RTS team can arrange all necessary structures for the masterclass. It is not possible to change the participation mode later.

If you registered in advance but were unable to attend the live session, you will be able to access the class recording for up to 6 months. However, you will not have the live participation features.

RTS does not offer refunds for CADETE as the classes are planned based on the number of registered students, requiring the mobilization of the entire structure to meet the demands of the masterclass.

During the masterclass, students will be able to enjoy coffee and snacks during breaks. However, RTS does not provide lunch. Meals can be taken at various shopping malls and restaurants near Redemption Baptist Church (RBC), at the student’s own expense.
